Christmas Vintage Goodies Box
Phew, finally done! I wanted so much to do this box! Somebody explaims to me, why do I love to make them?! Fun! You can see more explanations over here.
Unfortunately I won't be able to make many things for Christmas. Mostly gifts for my friends and family. Not much, I have just half dozen friends that I love very much. After all those gorgeous ornaments, lights and feast, the meaning of Christmas is often forgotten. If we keep it simple and small, we can also add those in need in our gift list!
Sometimes I don't really know my own style. There is a contrast between the pink bubble gum + modern patterns and the romantic french cottage home! I like vintage small finds, as postcards, images, sewing notions, tea cups...they make me remember stories told by my grandparents and everytime they did, I used to dive into their time, imagining the scenario. But I also enjoy modern design, simple and clean. I would like to blend all styles I like!

Oh! So glad I discovered your blog. And I just love your style!
This is a deliciou post! That box looks as good as a wedding cake! I find my style swing a little bit too, between vintage and modern, it meets somewhere in the middle--somehow it works! Happy Days :o)
Hi Zee,
Another beautiful tin! And so full of goodies. :)
Congaulations on the Etsy Storque.

What a beautiful box. Filled with lots of pretty treasures. Great project. Nice to visit again for new browsing.
This is just soo nice! It looks really fun to create as well. I love the traditional style you have used on this. But I'm like you, I kind of enjoy a bit from both sides :-)
Really talented artist, the pictures capture some great angles and work!
Beatiful crafts Zee. When I first looked at the box, I thought it was a beautiful cake, lol. I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy these!
Congratulations!

I am so glad to have discovered you and now "meet" you too :) I love being inspired by other artists/crafters/photographers/etc.Not sure if I mentioned it in my other post but your photos are amazing! I found you because I saw your Pixie Blossom logo on them on flickr and had to stop by! Love all the christmas shots! I too have mixed styles, so I know what you mean....mine are pink, feminine, shabby chic and dark brown, sepia, vintage, altered art styles...I try to combine them as much as I can! It's fun to see if it can be done...as I think is your mix of French Country/Modern/Vintage...love it!
Your Christmas Vintage Goodies Box is soo lovely!!!
And you take great photos!!!!!
