Yesterday I was organizing my house and I got some photos to share. See how difficult is to be only crafty? I love my plants. My favorites are the succulents. I don't have more space for so much! I also like these amaryllis and any flower that grows off bulbs. I have a kalanchoe plant since 2005. I bought at the grocerie store and that thing keeps growing and bloom every year!

Some are blooming now...

Get closer...

And closer...

This one has a very hard life...

Her name is Naninha. She is very important for me since I adopted her 10 years ago when she was wandering in the street, a little baby, so starving. My parents did not like cats at that time, but I had to keep her with me and today I am glad to tell you how they miss Naninha. They became cat lovers and my dad had a cat after I came to The US (unfortunately a neighbor killed the cat - horrible person). I believe that animals can help to heal people. Her company makes me happy! I don't like when people say things like "I hate cats", it's too much for me. I don't like to hear. It's very frustrating. It's ok do not like, but hate is a word that I avoid at the most! I don't have dogs, I am a cat person, but I don't hate dogs. I love animals.

This is the office's window. From this room I blog...

Those tea cups are vintage ones given by mother in law. I decided to use them to plant my succulents.

My husband got this duck a long time ago...

Mood board is finally organized...it was a big mess!

Latest acquisitions...I am not sewing anything at the moment, but when I see gorgeous fabric I am not able to resist!

Well people, that's all for now and I don't know when I am coming back. If you don't hear from me soon, I wish you a great Thanksgiving day.
Peace!

Love the orange/blue on the left. ... and the pink, great finds. I have the same problem, when I see a great fabric..., now I am forbidden to go to a fabric store by my husband (well symbolically).
I wrote to you b4, and didn't expect any answer. I'm like that too. Protective towards my personal life, family, etc. Reason why I don't blog, but read blogs, and bloggers rarely credit me w/ anything:)
All of this blablabla to say I wish you happiness and more posts:)) You're very talented, creative and a sweetheart.
Cheers!
Zee! Glad you're gonna be "booked for Thanksgiving!" For the first time EVER I'll actually be having a full house that day. I'm excited and scared at the same time! Yikes! Enjoy your time (even if it means staying away from Blogland for awhile)! Have fun and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
Have a lovely Thanksgiving as well. Since I just found your blog through Artful Blogging last month I can read the old posts while you are away. :)
I am not very social either and have yet to make even one friend where I have lived for the past year.
Not to have a pity party on your comments though so enjoy your time away. :)
Hi Zee,
What a great, honest, heartfelt post. Your cat is adorable (yes, I'm a catperson too!) Hm... I see I wasn't the first person to think of putting plants in pretty teacups! Ha ha...
You shouldn't feel pressured to post... just do your thing, write when you feel like it (and don't if you don't feel like it). I'll see a new post when it pops up in my feedreader!
Hope you have a great time with your new friends!
PS: that orange fabric on the left is absolutely gorgeous!
Hi Zee,Sorry you are feeling so down. I think it happens to us all. I don't have any friends, so that's why I like to visit blogs so I can "meet" different people.Don't ever feel pressured to blog, sure I love seeing your beautiful art, but your life is more important than this blog. Take care of yourself & put the blog on the backburner a while, we'll be here when you come back....just don't be gone too long. :)I had also hoped to make my blog crafty like all the others, but I had to stop b/c my boring, depressing life has made my blog not what I had imagined,so I have stopped posting for a while now.Just do what makes you happy..your success isn't measured by anybody out there, so don't worry about them, worry about yourself! :)Well, take care & have a happy holiday! :)PS- stop worrying about your english,it's just fine...you worry too much! :)
Way to go! I too have a blog for my store. At first I wanted to post everything only about the store, then life crept in. I am not a blogger, and I hardly ever get on line to search blogs. However, happily I came acroos yours and I love it. No matter how many times you choose to post, it will be lovely. Enjoy your life!
well zee, i hope this is just a small break! because it has been fun getting to know you and forming our little friendship. i know we beat ourselves at times. sometimes i beat myself because i'm not creative enough. but really, who is judging and who will give me the prize at the end. this isn't a contest. i have really enjoyed reading your blog...and looking at your beautiful photography! i'm so happy to know you have made friends. i have been through the same. friends do make everything better. have a wonderful thanksgiving. i hope to get back to my regular gift sewing so i can finish packing your box!!! mucho love!!!!
ps: i don't schedule all of my posts, just one here and there. it does help me at time. but i too like to post as things happen. and that's is why in over one year i have not even reached 100 posts. lol! call me lazy. but who cares!
Oi Zee!
beijos
Anna
I have only visited your little web corner a few times, but think your photos and words are just lovely.
I have been in my own neck of Oregon for about 2 years, and still only know as many people,as can be counted on one hand. So you are lucky indeed to have found more people to share your life and joy with.
Take care!
i hope you do come back. i've enjoyed your creations and you've inspired me to start embroidery, again. i've gone so far as to rearrange the dining room into my design center. so, you see, even though you feel like not getting back to all your comments is making lose blogger friends. i can tell you that stopping altogether will make your audience feel uninspired.
hope to see you soon and have a wonderful thanksgiving!
Hello,

i agree with you ! animals heal people. they are the best compagny you can have. you will never be alone if you have a pet around. and they will never betray you or hurt you. all they ask is love.
Oi Zee
